Shulchan Aruch: Orach Chaim and Choshen Mishpat]
Hebrew manuscript on paper. Two columns per page. Orach Chaim written in a large square North African hand (except for the final leaf which is in another smaller hand. Choshen Mishpat written in a smaller, different square North African hand. Marginalia in other hands.
Orach Chaim (ff. 112) commences from the middle of Siman 55 paragraph 8, through until the end (Siman 697). The upper left column of each leaf of Orach Chaim has a notation as to which day it was to be studied.
Choshen Mishpat (ff. 109) commences from the beginning (Siman 1) through until Siman 400 paragraph 3. ff. 221. Variously stained, primitive repairs along lower margins, occasionally utilizing scraps of early Hebrew printed books. Later boards, worn. Folio.
(North Africa): 18th century.
Manuscripts of the Shulchan Aruch are scarce. The text here contains some slight variances as compared to the standard, published edition.
