A touching letter in the handwriting and with the signature of the Jerusalemite tazaddik Rabbi David Beharan, to the management of the MeahShearim Committee regarding help for the wedding of his granddaughter, daughter of his son Rabbi Shlomo Zalman. Rabbi David Beharan: 1866 – 1946. One of the righteous men and kabbalists in Jerusalem, a student of Rabbi Meir Auerbach author of 'Imrei Binah' and one of the students of the 'Etz Chaim' yeshiva headed by Rabbi Yehoshua Moshe Yehuda Leib Diskin. He used to learn from midnight until the following evening, studied together with the greatest Kabbalists in Jerusalem including: Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv author of the 'LeshemShevo V'Achlama', the Kabbalist Rabbi Eliyahu David Slotky and more. Very good condition, filing holes without damage to text.
