An interesting halachic letter, dated 19th Kislev 1963 in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Yisrael Weiz Av Beit Din of Budapest and one of the heads of OtzarHaPoskim to Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Waldenberg a member of the Beit Din Rabbani Gadol which contains a halachic discussion, whether it is forbidden to file a written declaration (which is like an oath) to the Supreme Court and adds that it should be avoided for the time being. | Rabbi Yisrael Weiz [1887-1974] a student of the ShevetSofer in Pressburg up to the Holocaust and later a dayan in Jerusalem. One of the heads of the OtzarHaPoskim, author of the three-part responsa Divrei Yisrael. | 26x20 cm. Overall condition: Good.
