The Admor wrote an introduction on the title page's reverse side, including words about his father, the Admor Ba'al HaTanya: "Since ... my honorable father the Admor z"l, in all his sermons each Sabbath ... the entirety [of what he said] was to instill the simple unity of Hash-m ... in the mind and heart of every individual ... I said ... [I will] gather the essence of his holy words from his discourses ... said and found in [his] compositions on the verses of Shema Yisrael, etc., and I added clarifications determined in my mind and heart ... I ordered the printing of the Admor HaGaon z"l's Torah compositions found in the writings I had, in the opening [of Imrei Binah]."
