First edition of the work by Admor Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichov, founder of the Zidichov dynasty.

Background: Admor Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichov was born in 1773. His father was Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik of Sambor, Hungary, a descendant of Rabbi Yom Tov Lipman Heller, author of Tosfot Yom Tov. He was recognized as a sparkling genius at a young age. He was remarkably proficient in both the hidden and revealed aspects of Torah. His comprehensive familiarity with the Zohar earned him the title "Sar Beit HaZohar." He often traveled to visit leaders and righteous men of his generation, and was a primary student of the Chozeh of Lublin's. He was greatly admired by the prominent Admors. He was renowned as a lofty righteous person, and many people came to hear his Torah. He became the chassidic leader of all of Galicia after Rabbi Naftali Rospshitz's passing and the "Nasi Eretz Yisrael" in that area. He studied kabbalah and authored important works, including: Ateret Tzvi, Pri Kadosh Hilulim and others. He passed away in 1831 and was eulogized by Rabbi Shlomo Kluger.

Condition: Moderate. Worming holes, primarily to the blank gutters. Simple binding.
