Important Letter by Rabbi Aharon Yehudah Leib Shteinman in which he Requests Support for the Network of Kollels Studying the Laws between Man and his Fellow
Letter with the gaon Rabbi Aharon Yehudah Leib Shteinman's and the gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kopshitz's signatures. Sent to the mashgiach Rabbi Dan Segal in Cheshvan, 2009.
In the letter, the gaons turn to Rabbi Dan Segal with a request for his assistance for a network of kollels studying the laws between man and his fellow in depth, and the Chafetz Chaim. The required sum for this is $31,500, and the gaons implore the rabbi to assist them, with an emphasis on the importance of helping the students of the laws between man and his fellow, especially as the Chafetz Chaim appealed regarding this: 'Especially in our time, a troubled time for the Jews, and we know not what will be each day, heaven forbid, and as the Chafetz Chaim wrote, the main cause of the exile's length is the sin of the tongue.'
