IDF Chiefs of Staff and Major-Generals - Autographed Photos, Start of the 1970s

Five signed photos [some with dedications] of high-ranking IDF officers - chiefs of staff and major-generals. Start of the 1970s.

* Photo of Chaim Bar Lev [1924-1994] with dedication and autograph. Bar Lev was the eighth IDF chief of staff [appointed in 1968], a member of Knesset and minister in the Israeli government. 13x19 cm.

* Autographed photo of Mordechai [Motta] Gur [1930-1995], tenth chief of staff [starting in 1974]. He commanded Division 55, which captured the Old City during the Six Day War. He was a member of Knesset and a minister in Israeli governments. 9x12 cm. 

* Photo of Rechavam Ze'evi, inscribed. Ze'evi [1926-2001] served as a general in the IDF and then in Israeli politics. He was murdered by three Palestinian assassins. 9x13 cm.

* Yitzchak [Itche] Bar-On, photo, dedication and autograph. Bar On [1921-2013] was a brigadier-general in the IDF, and IDF military attache in France in the 1960s, and director-general for aide and foreign relations of the ministry of defense. After leaving the army he served as head of the Tel Aviv University. Photo: 4x7 cm. Two leaves with dedications and two autographs.

* Uzi Narkiss, autographed photo. Narkiss [1925-1997] was the commander of the IDF central units during the Six Day War. He founded the College for National Security. 13x19 cm.

All the photos are in very fine condition.
