A letter written on a folded leaf with four written pages. The letter was sent to Rabbi Yesha'aya ha'levi Horowitz Av Beit Din of Kollelot Chabad of Safed.
The first page is handwritten by the Rebbe Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh Leibush Frankel Av Beit Din of Botchan. In the letter he asks Rabbi Horowitz's opinion about the rabbinical polemic in Botchan.
On the next three pages, Rabbi Frankel typewrote a long description of the above polemic.
Letters by the Rebbe of Botchan are extremely rare! All the more so, with such important content.
Rabbi Yehudah Aryeh Leibush Frankel (1885-1927)was raised by his grandfather the Rebbe rabbi Yosef Aharon of Buchach, after his father's death. In 1906, when he was only 22 years old, he became the rabbi of Botchan. In 1913, after his grandfather's death, he replaced him as Rebbe.
Size of page: 20cm.
Condition: good. The second leaf is torn due to folding (the letter was sent folded). Slits. Filing holes.
