Letter by the Rebbe Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar. Brooklyn [1969?]. scribal script with the handwritten signature of the Rebbe at the end of the letter.
In his letter, the Rebbe asks the philanthropists to support his yeshiva "Torah Ve'Yirah" in Jerusalem, "where respectable students are educated … and since the holy institution is in a very bad state and the expenses of the building have been added to them … and the merit of the Mitzvah will protect all those who assist and they will be blessed with abundance, blessing and success …". His signature.
Witten on the Rebbe's official stationery. 13x21 cm.
Condition: Reasonable. Wear and tear. Minor damage to the edge of the signature. The letter is restored and glued onto thick paper; subsequently its condition is good.
