Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Rebbe Rabbi Ya'akov Elimelech Panet Av Beit Din of Dej
Letter of recommendation handwritten and signed by the Rebbe of Dej Rabbi Ya'akov Elimelech Panet.
The recommendation is for his relative Reb Asher Shmuel Panet. The Rebbe asks the addressee to give him work in merit of his holy fathers.
The Rebbe Rabbi Ya'akov Elimelech Panet was the fifth and last Rebbe among the Rebbes who were descendants of the author of 'Mareh Yechezkel'. He was the author of the book "Zichron Ya'akov". During the Holocaust, he refused to leave his community and died in Auschwitz on the 14th of Sivan 1944.
The letter is written on the Rebbe's official stationery. 28 cm.
