A handwritten document containing confirmation of the arrival of an emissary of the husband with a divorce certificate (Gett). London, 1881.
The document is signed by Rabbi Naftali Adler, Rabbi Ya'akov Reinowitz, and Rabbi Dobver Scheifers, the three Dayanim of the Beit Din of Rabbi Adler.
Rabbi Naftali Adler, the son of Rabbi Natan Adler, served as the head of the Beit Midrash of London. Since 1879, he served as the rabbi of London with his father. In 1891, he was appointed the Chief Rabbi of the British Empire, replacing his father. He visited the Land of Israel and wrote a book about the journey.
Rabbi Ya'akov Reinowitz was a Dayan in his hometown of Wołkowysk for thirty years and then emigrated to London, where he served as Rosh Av Beit Din of the Adler Chief Rabbis until his death in 1893. Responses by the Natziv to him appear in the Meshiv davar Responsa.
Rabbi Dobver Scheiffers was the author of 'Divrei DEvash', novellae on the Talmud.
