Sefer Sha'arei Zion, authored by Rabbi Natan Neta, the disciple of Rabbi Chaim Vital. With additional Kabbalistic prayers, Tikkun Chatzot and Tikkun Ha'Klali by Rabbi Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. With commentaries. Przemyśl [the 1930's?].
At the beginning of the book, ownership inscriptions handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yehuda Ze'ev Leibowitz, from his youth, when he lived in Satmar in 1942. His stamp: "Yuda Ze'ev Leibowitz of Satmar".
An ownership inscription and signature handwritten bythe person who had bought the Siddur from him: "Rabbi Yuda Katz" and his stamp.
On the reverse side of the title page, an inscription handwritten by Rabbi Leibowitz on "the virtue of learning Torah at night" according to the Zohar.
On the leaves of Tikkun Chatzot, Rabbi Leibowitz wrote several important comments. Several times he refers to the book "Kedushat Ha'Levi". Som eof the comments are signed.
An addition comment on leaf 130 and on leaf 142. He mentions there a Segulah for overcoming enemies. On leaf 159, a short comment.
At the end of the book, on the reverse side of the last leaf, an ownership inscription handwritten by him. On the next leaf (Forsazt), a long inscription handwritten by him from Siddur Ha'Shela about the virtue of the prayer.
The Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Ze'ev Leibowitz (1922-2010) was born in Satmar and studied with the Rebbe Rabbi Yoel of Satmar and Rabbi Yehuda Rosner author of 'Imrei Yehuda'. During this period, he prayed from the Siddur before u
His family was murdered in Auschwitz during the Holocaust and after his release, he immigrated to the Land of israel and settled in Tel Aviv.
He was a leading disciple of "Ba'al Ha'Sulam" the Rebbe of Ashlag. The greatest Rebbes considered him one of the 36 Tzaddikim Nistarim.
Many miraculous stories are told of his Divine Spirit and of people who were cured due to his merit.
Condition: Good. The title page of the book is detached. Wear. Original binding with the impression "Sha'arei Zion".
