Chovot HaLevavot, Vienna 1853, Magnificent Binding
Chovot HaLevavot by Rabbeinu Bechayyei son of Yosef HaSepharadi with German translation according to Ibn Tibbon's translation, Mend son of Y. Stern known as "Men Del," Vienna, 1853. The German translation is on facing pages. Cardboard binding covered with gilt-decorated leather.
Handwritten owner's stamp on the title page: 'לה"ו מנטו ניימאן' and Nathan Steiner's stamp.
473 XX pages. 19 cm.
Blemishes to the binding, especially the spine, stains. Fine condition.
