"Les Livres de Moise." [47] colored lithographs by Abel Pann, signed in the plate. "The Palestine Art Publishing Co.," Jerusalem 1930. Copy 56 of an edition of 140 copies. French with a little Hebrew.
Forty seven illustrations on the Tanach by Abel Pann, with verses in French. Within a magnificent cloth portfolio titled "Le Bible." Preceding each lithograph there is a page with a title matching the Biblical scene it portrays.
[45] lithographs with matting, with matting: 43.5x30 cm. + 2 lithographs that measure 59x39.5 cm folded into two + 3 pages (title page and colophon).
Overall fine condition. Light tears and blemishes. Matting slightly darkened, particularly in the margins. Tears and blemishes to the portfolio.
