Americana! Sefer Divrei Emet - Chicago,5664, pulmus against the Ridba"z.
Divrei Emet, Part One. Pulmus about Shchita between the Ridba"z and Rabbi Tzvi Shimon Elbaum, Chicago, 5684. 44 pages 25 c"m, polemical essay against Rabbi Ya'akov David Wilovsky - The Ridba"z,(5605-5674).
The Ridba"z served as rabbi in several important communities, including Slutsk, and moved to the United States in 5663, in order to strengthen Judaism in the area and was appointed rabbi in Chicago. However, when he encountered the opposition of the local rabbis and realized that he could not bring about the repairs he wanted, he gave up the position of the rabbinate.
A quote from the book of the Ridba"z: that really in the city of Chicago there are many who fear Gd really "Yosef HaShem Alihem". , and when I came there, And I thought I might be the emissary to bring a large yeshiva to the place where most of Israel go every day and I agreed to settle down there, (HaShem Elokay Lefanecha Niglu Kol Talumot Levavi Ve`Et Machshavati). And when I began to see the Treifot  in the city and started to repair and saw that everything that I would do repair regulations would spoil more and more because this company with their multi machine stood up to the devil. And when I saw very well that I could not fix it because the whole city could not stand up to the boldness of the little ones held by this crook, I decided to leave the city, for I knew I would not abolish this small society. (Shu"t Beit Ridba"z 28).
In his activity there to strengthen the slaughter, Rabbi Tzvi Shimon Elboim encountered resistance, as the Ridba"z wrote in the introduction to his book Nimoki Ridbaz. In this essay, Rabbi Elbaum responds harshly, copying the words of the Ridba"z and retaliating, in which he also devoted all his efforts to establishing the Torah and kashrut in Chicago until the Ridba"z came and destroyed the kashrut system.
Following the Pulmus, the Ridba"z left Chicago and immigrated to Eretz Israel, where he served as rabbi of Safed and even established a yeshiva there on pages 49-50. A photocopy of the agreement is in manuscript between the Ridba"z and the shochetim.
