Silver Goblet – Augsburg, circa the Early 18th Century – Large and Special
Nice, impressive cylindrical goblet that gradually broadens toward the rim. , made of silver. Gilded. Signed.
Decorated with flower embossments and bearing an engraved Hebrew dedication: "Made by the Gaba'im of the Chevra Kadisha of blessed memory".
On the medallions, the following names are engraved: Ze'ev Katz, Hirsch Miller, Leib Green, Erin Segal. On the lower medallions, the Hebrew letters "גחשא" are engraved (Gemilut Chessed shel Emet).
