Passover Haggadah with the 'Yefeh Nof' commentary by Rabbi Chaim Gavriel Bloch, the son of Rabbi Yosef Bloch author of 'Ginzei Yosef'. Lemberg 1808.

The author Rabbi Chaim Gavriel Bloch was the son of Rabbi Yosef Bloch "the Maggid of Satanow" (1744-1789) who was a member of the group of the Maggid of Mezeritch, author of the Hassidic book 'Ginzei Yosef' and close friend of the Maggid of Zlotchov. The above book was published by his son Rabbi Chaim Gavriel, the author of the commentary before us.
Rabbi Chaim Gavriel (circa 1754-1824)served as the rabbi of Koniv. In his commentary on the Haggadah, he cites from his father's book 'Gonzei Yosef', explains the citations and expands on them. His descendants were the Rebbes of Nadvorna.
On the title page of the book, an ownership stamp of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kahana, the Rebbe of Spinka-Homna, the grandson of Rabbi Nachman Kahana Av Beit Din of Spinka, author of 'Orchot Chaim', and the son-in-law of the Rebbe rabbi Avraham of Kerestir, the son of the Rebbe Rabbi Yesha'ayah Steiner Kerestir. Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kahana served as rabbi, Dayan and head of yeshiva of Homna.
