Zera Yisrael, contains four works: Chiddushei Aggadot, a commentary on Rashi, a commentary on the Midrash and a commentary on several tractates by Rabbi Yisrael son of Rabbi Binyamin of Harimlov. Wilhermsdorf, 1730. First edition.
[Part one]: Chiddushei Aggadot. [1], 58 leaves.
Part two: She'erit Yisrael, which is a commentary on Rashi [on the Torah]. [1], 18 leaves.
Part three: Tiferet Yisrael which is a commentary on the Midrash. [1], 43 leaves.
Part four: Beit Yisrael which is a commentary on the Talmud, Rashi and Tosefot of a few tractates. [1], 45-79 leaves. Each part has a special title page.
The book received many approbations praising the author (who we did not manage to find any information about, the author lived in Przemyś. Ownership signatures 'The small one Itzik ... ' and other signatures. A long inscription on the flyleaves. An uncommon book.
Aging stains. Simple, dismantled binding. Condition: Fine-very fine.
