PHOTOGRAPHIES ET FLEURS DE TERRE SAINTE. Large format photo album of the Holy Land. Facing each photo is a dried flower taken from the depicted region.
Pictures of Jaffa, Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem, Tower of David, Temple Mount, Western Wall, Mt. Olives, Christian and Moslem holy sites, Rachel's Tomb and more. Each picture has captions in English, French and German.
The flowers are covered with tissue paper. Olive wood binding with a carved Jerusalem Cross. The word "Jerusalem" on the back. Gilt text on spine.
Album: 30x22 cm. Picture plates: 20x15 cm.
Stains primarily in the margins and on the tissue paper. The dried flowers are in very fine condition.
Fine condition.
