BRAZZA PIERRE SAVORGNAN DE: (1852-1905) Italian-born French Explorer of the Congo, which he successfully opened up for the French entry which led to the French Colonies in Central Africa. Signed postcard photograph `P.S.de Brazza´, the image depicting the French explorer outdoors, seated in a profile full length pose. Signed in bold black ink to a clear area to the upper part of the image, and dated (`Loango August 1896´) in his hand. Small overall age wearing, and a small stain, otherwise G £200-300
