Illustrated Esther Scroll in a Brass Case – the Early 20th Century
A. Illustrated Esther scroll, written on parchment. Decorated with illustrations of colorful animals and birds, flowers and leaves.
Condition: wear. The script has faded in several places. Gluing and wrinkles with slight damage to text.
Width: 11.5 cm.
Length: 225 cm.
B. Brass case for the Megilah decorated with engraved flowers and leaves. A handle for rolling. A central medal with a Hebrew inscription: "Ya'akov Yehuda Pinto 5669" (1909).
General Condition: Good. Natural signs of use matching the age of the item.
