A special Piyyut for Purim, handwritten in colorful script with illustrations around it. At the head of the lead, the version of Shiviti in the Menorah format. Persia, the 19th century.
On the upper part of the leaf, the verse "Shiviti Hashem" and the psalm "La'Menatze'ach" shaped as a Menorah. At the center pf the leaf, the Piyyut "Tni Shira Ve'Zimra Am Segulah…"which recalls various historical edicts that the Jews had survived.
The Piyyut was said by the Jews of Persian Kurdistan before the reading of the Megilah on Purim. After the Piyyut, the blessings of the Megilah appear. Around the script there is a colorful frame with illustrations of flowers (and wine jugs?).

Condition: Good. Tears on the folds, partially restored.
