A. Touching letter about the saving of the Mir Yeshiva during the Holocaust handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yitzchak Kolitz (the future Ashkenazic Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem) to his brother-in-law Rabbi Aharon Milevsky. Jerusalem, 1944.
B. An issue of the newspaper of Histadrut Ha'Mizrachi of Argentine, "Boletin Informative". August 1942, issue no. 1. Two copies of the issue which contains 2 pages.
C. Printed manifest with a Yiddish letter by Rabbi Aharon Milevsky, calling his community in Montevideo to say certain Psalms on Yom Kippur 1940 and a special prayer he had written due to the horrible situation in Europe. 29x19 cm.
D. Two Yiddish letters by Rabbi Zvi Ha'Cohen Klein to Rabbi Milevsky about the saving of the Mir Yeshiva (1942).
The letters and documents are from the archive of Rabbi Aharon Milevsky (1904-1986), the Rabbi of Alytus and later, the Chief Rabbi of Montevideo. He was one of the most active members of Va'ad Ha'Hatzala during World War II.
