A rare, unique collection of official receipts of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva, which were given to the rabbis and students of the yeshiva. The early 1940's.
Each receipt is signed by the head of the yeshiva Rabbi Zalman Zelaznik and by the rabbi or student confirming he had received the money. All the rabbis and students who signed the receipts later became prominent rabbis and religious leaders.
Following is a partial list of the rabbis who signed the receipts (a complete list will be sent upon request):

23. Rabbi Avraham Abba Rakovsky (the rabbi of the Even Yisrael neighborhood of Jerusalem).

Some of the receipts are also signed by pious women, among them Mrs. Rivka Rothenberg, Mrs. Golda Harlap and more.
