On the title page of the book, the stamp of the Rebbe Rabbi Ya'akov of Yazov. On the side of the leaf, an inscription in nice script: belongs to the Avrech Rabbi Ya'akov Landau the son of Rabbi Avraham … Av Beit Din of Ciechanów"
Rabbi Ya'akov (1834-1894) was a leading Hassid of his father the Rebbe Rabbi Avraham of Ciechanów. He was also a disciple of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kock and the Rim of Gur. After the death of his father, Rabbi Ya'akov replaced him as rabbi of Ciechanów. "Thousands of Jews used to came to him to be illuminated by his Torah and piousness" 9from the book 'Et Sefod', Warsaw, 1894, which was printed in his memory).
His call to the wealthy Jews of Poland to purchase the land of Nablus for the Jews of the Land of Israel is well known. He immigrated to the Land of Israel by the command of his father and lived there intermittently, forced to return to Poland for health reasons. He died in Warsaw in 1894. He left manuscripts of Divrei Torah.

The signature of Rabbi Eliezer Lipman Heilperin
On the last leaf before the indices, an ancient signature: "Eliezer Lipman Heilperin" and a handwritten signature. It is most likely that his (erased) signature appears also on the title page of the book.
There were several prominent rabbis with this name. The most well-known of these was Rabbi Eliezer Lipman Heilperin of Tykotzin, the grandfather of Rabbi Yoel Ba'al Shem (Heilperin) of Zamosch, a kabbalist who served as a rabbi of several towns and who was well-known as a wonder-worker and Ba'al Shem.
