Document Signed by the Author of 'Yitav Lev' of Satmar – 1882
A document in a foreign language signed by the Rebbe Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum (1808-1883), author of 'Yitav lev'. A document from the last year before his death! Written by a scribe and hand-signed by the Rebbe. Stamps in a foreign language.
The Rebbe Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum, the rabbi of Siget and the First Rebbe of Siget, a leading disciple of his grandfather the Rebbe author of 'Yismach Moshe', Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum. He was also a Hassid of the Rebbe Rabbi Yesha'aya of Ropczyce.
He was a well-known Rebbe and thousands of Hassidim came to him for blessing and advice. He was known for his great holiness. Many miraculous stories are told of him, among them, things that had been revealed to him by the Divine Spirit.
He died on Sabbath, the sixth of Elul 1883 after serving for 25 years as the rabbi of Siget.
