Album of Original Photographs [46] of the Lubavitcher Rebbe
The album contains 46 different photographs, taken by the photographer Reb Levi Yitzchak Freiden, the court photographer of the Rebbe, who had taken thousands of pictures and filmed many hours of video of the Rebbe. He received special treatment from the Rebbe, who used to stop so that Reb Yitzchal could take a better and clearer picture of him. The Rebbe appreciated Reb Yiztchak'sl devotion to his profession and once said that if the students of the Yeshiva at 770 had been devoted to their study as Reb Yitzchak was devoted to his work, things would have looked different…
The photographs show the Rebbe in various events, in his "770" Beit Midrash in New York, walking in the street, during Farbrengens, during prayer (in one of the photographs, he is the prayer leader), on the night after Yom Kippur, holding the Lulav, and during Havdalah. The photographs are standard in size. Some are similar yet not identical. Some are close-ups of other photographs of the album. In some of the photographs, the Rebbe, noticing his picture is being taken, smiles to the camera.
