Sha'arei Shamayim, Prague, 1575 - First Edition - Signature of Rabbi Ya'akov Shemesh, One of the Rabbis of the Chatam Sofer
Sha'arei Shamayim, first section titled Sha'arei Chochma. By Rabbi Yechiel Michel Ha'Levi of Kalisch.
Prague, 1575. First edition. Printing press of the sons of Yehuda Bek.
At the beginning of the book, important approbations, preface by the author's father Rabbi Aryeh Leib Ha'Levi. Approbation by the author's grandfather Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ha'Levi. And approbations by the most prominent contemporary rabbis.
The book was attributed by mistake by the researcher Rabbi Ya'akov Moshe Toledano to another author named Rabbi Chaim Toledano, since a manuscript of the book was found in Morocco without its title page. In the book "Malchei Rabanan" by Rabbi Yosef Ben Na'im in the entry of Rabbi Chaim Toledano, the author discusses the source of the mistake.
(About the author, his biography and genealogy see the article by Rabbi Binyamin Panteliat Ha'Ma'ayan, Nissan 2015)

Within the frame of the title page, an inscription: "… Ya'akov Shemesh".
