Table salt from the Six Day War
Rumors abounded before the Six Day War that there would be a severe shortage of sugar and salt. Many people purchased large quantities of salt that they could use when supplies would no longer be available. This is a bag of "Atlit Salt" from the Six Day War that was saved along with tens of similar bags in the attic of a recently deceased Bnei Brak woman, who had saved a tremendous amount of salt during the war.
Weight: 1 kg.
The bag is slightly stained. Fine condition.
