A poster of protest, which relates a series of violent incidents between policemen and ultra-orthodox people as the result of a soccer game which took place on Shabbat of the portion of Nasso 1931. Jerusalem, Tzukerman printing press.

The poster relates the entire episode: "On the afternoon of the eve of Shavuot, members of the ultra-orthodox community were surprised to see advertisements published by Maccabi that the British Police Force will play soccer against Maccabi on the Shabbat of the portion of Nasso", it relates the negotiations conducted between the ultra-orthodox delegation and the organizers of the game, in the form of various claims which Colonel Kish replied to Mr. Porush that it is pointless to talk to the British about Shabbat as is is insignificant to them, and Maccabi desecrate Shabbat in any event." After the ultra-orthodox representatives received a negative reply to their request to cancel the game, the game took place, and a violent scuffle broke out between the demonstrators and the policemen: "They publicly sold tickets before the entire Jewish people, the ultra-orthodox people in the area protested this, but the Jewish policemen beat them with terrible cruelty, they used their horses to subdue the ultra-orthodox crowd. And they had no shame, and they did not know that the English policemen who were on the pitch prevented them from hitting Jews, the Jewish policemen cruelly dragged two Torah scholars and hit them with cruel blows and put them in jail..."

The poster also reports the story of a Yemenite immigrant who was cruelly beaten and replied to the policemen: "There in Yemen, the wicked regime of Imam Yichye did not hit us Jews the way you Jewish soldiers are beating your Jewish brethren in the holy city of Jerusalem." The Arab's puzzled reaction to Jews being beaten by Jews and more.
