The Rebbe Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Perlow (1880-1943), the third son of Rabbi Ya'akov Perlow was the father-in-law of Rabbi Elimelech Ben Zion Shapira, the son of the Rebbe of Piaseczno. During the Holocaust he encouraged and supported the members of his community until he was executed by the Nazis.
