Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, Section B [Simanim 346-797], with Ba'er Heitev, Sha'arei Tshuvah and Yad Efrayim. This is most likely the first edition which was printed in Dubno, 1820, and which included for the first time the "Sha'arei Tshuvah" by Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Margaliyot Av Beity Din of Dubno and the publisher of this edition. It also included the "Yad Efrayim" by his brother Rabbi Efrayim Zalman Margaliyot, which was laos printed for the first time. (It is possible, however, that this is the second edition which was printed in Zhovkvah in 1853).
Throughout the book, dozens of glosses in ancient Ashkenazic script, which were written by two different writers. One of them occasionally adds comments on the glosses of the other. Some of the glosses have faded due to dampness. Others are readable. A large part of the glosses are references to the "Sha'arei Tshuvah". In many of the glosses, the writer presents the opinion of Shulchan Aruch Ha'Rav. In one gloss, he notes the words of the Vilna Gaon in the book 'Ma'aseg Rav'.
Undoubtedly, the writers are prominent rabbis; however, we have not been able to identify them.
A copy of the library of an important collector (his stamp on the Forsazt leaves).
Lacking copy: 1-324 leaves (originally: [2], 325, [7] leaves).
Condition: Good-Fair. A thick volume. Stains. Wear, moth signs, damaged loose binding.
