A sharpening Device for Shechita Knives, steel, Eastern Europe, the middle of the 19th century.
A device made of steel and shaped as a large knife with a handle and ring for hanging.
Stamped by the stamp of the manufacturer.
On the handle, a hand-engraved Yiddish inscription: "Gross Brider" (Big brother).
Length: approximately 32 cm. width: approximately 3 cm.
Condition: Good. Signs of use on th e"blade".
