The O.S.E, or O.Z.E, (Obshchetsvo Zdravookhraneniya Yevreyiev – "Organization for protecting the health of the Jews") is a Jewish humanitarian organization in France, which assisted hundreds of children, Jewish refugees from France and other West-European countries. The organization was founded by physicians in 1912 in Russia in order to needy members of the Jewish population.
As a Jewish health organization, it saved during World War II hundreds of Jewish children from the Nazis. After the German occupation of France, the O.Z.E acted mainly there. It is estimated that during the Holocaust the organization saved more than 5,000 Jewish children.
