mrei Shoham. Novellae on Talmudical tractates by Rabbi Moshe Shoham of Dolina, a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov. Kolomea, 1880. First edition. Prestigious approbations from leading Admors. Noted at the end of the approbations: "it is a great safeguard to have this book in one's home".
[2] 62 leaves. 24 cm. The author, Rabbi Moshe of Dolina was a young disciple of the Baal Shem Tov. His father, Rabbi Dan, was very close to the Ba'al Shem Tov, and was childless. Rabbi Moshe Shoham's birth was the fulfillment of the Besh"t's promise that a righteous son would be born to Rabbi Dan. He was known as "Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Dan" and was the rabbi of Dolina. With the "Divrei Moshe" on the Torah.
Simple binding. Very fine condition, other than a blemish on the title page. Stefansky, Chassidut 61.
