Tzemach Tzaddik, section two. Imrot Tehorot from Admor Menachem Mendel of Vishnitz beharv Admor Chaim of Kossov. Lemberg, 1892. Rare edition. Stamps of the Admor of Vishva. 59 leaves. 22.5 cm.
The author [1830-1884], was the first person titled the Admor of Vishnitz. He was the son-in-law of Admor Yisrael of Ruzhin, founder of the Ruzhin dynasty. Rare edition. In 1885, the books of the Tzemach Tzaddik were printed in Czernowitz. This second edition was printed according to that edition. This edition is not listed by the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book and is not in the National Library; however it is mentioned in the Beit Eked Seforim.
The title page and four other locations within the book bear the stamp of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager….the rabbi of Vishnitz. Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Vishva [1885-1941] was a grandson of the author, with handwritten glosses..
New binding. Aging stains. Fine-very fine condition.
