Breastplate for a Torah Scroll, shaped like the breastplate of the High Priest. Gold-plated copper with the twelve stones hand painted. United States. First half of the 20th century. Square breastplate 19x19 cm.
Thick, cardboard plate within the breastplate, with the names of the twelve tribes and the twelve stones on the breastplate, each one in a different color. Handmade. With a lengthy, copper chain.
Very fine condition.
