Kiddushin Set: Bone Case, Metal Ring and Bone Ring. 20th Century
Unique, impressive set, 3 sections: box made of bone, with rings made of gold and bone respectively, for marriage
Oval case, 10.5 cm. long and 6.5 cm. long. Gold ring, 12.2 grams.
The cover of the case features a relief of two hands in a handshake and the Hebrew text: mekadesh amo Yisrael al yidei chupa v'nisuin'. Engraved on the sides, in Hebrew: samaech, tisamach rei'im ahuvim…'. Beautiful gold ring with the Hebrew text, 'harei at mekudeshet li bi'taba'at zu', along with a large ring made of bone, in ancient Italian style, with a house surrounded by a wall at its head and the Hebrew text 'mazal tov'.
Original, velvet padding in the box. Preserved well. Very fine condition.
