Bikurim. Booklet of articles for the enjoyment of those who love Jewish wisdom and our holy language, published by Naftali Keller. Vienna, [1864-1865]. Two sections.
Year one: XXXIX, 254 pages. Year two: XX, 244 pages, about 16 cm. No others printed.
Torah-scientific journal with articles and studies of Judaism by members of the Haskala movement. The first book includes a calendar for 1865 with a separate title page, synagogue customs and a list of historic events. The second book was printed after the death of its publisher, Naftali Keller, and features a short introduction about the author and his work by Meir Ish Shalom. Missing the last 3 pages at the end of book one (advertisements for books).
Simple bindings. Minimal stains. Very fine condition.
