Sefer Zohar Chodosh with library stamps of R. Alter Yisroel Shimon Perlow of Novominsk.
R. Alter Yisroel Shimon Perlow of Novominsk (1874-1933) was a son of R. Yaakov of Novominsk and a scion of the Nezhchizer Dynasty. In 1902 he succeeded his father as Novominsker Rebbe. During World War One he relocated to Warsaw. Known as a tremendous Talmid Chochom he wrote a large amount of novella some of which was printed under the title Tiferes Ish.

Lot includes antique “Kvittel” found inside the Zohar, likely placed there by the Rebbe.
