Collected sermons on the weekly Torah portions authored by R. Aaron Thumim/Darshan.
R. Aaron Thumim (1630-1690) served as a preacher “Darshan “in Prague. His sermons were so highly regarded that the moniker “Darshan” was added to his name. He later served as Rav of Worms and subsequently was appointed to the highly esteemed position of Rav of Krakow. In 1690 on route to a meeting of the “Va’ad Arba Aratzos “he was brutally murdered by a Poritz.
Vinograd Frankfurt 263. Kelner press. 2, 40, 21, 20, 15, 18 pages. Mispaginated. 30.2 cm. Good/fair condition (One page with missing text expertly restored by hand). Some damage to title page not affecting text. Antique binding, restored spine.
