An envelope with eight Hebrew postage stamps (including the following values: 250 [stamped] and 500). On the envelope, the signature of Menachem Begin.
The above envelope was sent to Begin, together with the question whether the signature was indeed his or a forgery. Before us is Begin's response, on official stationery, according to which it might be his signature; yet since he had signed many such items, he cannot be sure. He notes that the letter 'ב' is not similar to the way he usually writes it; however, it is possible that he signed the envelope while he was riding in a car and therefore the letter looks different. The letter is in English from 1981. Signed by Begin.
