Machzor according to the custom of Rome, first and second sections containing prayers for all year and the Jewish holidays, with the Torah readings, Passover Haggadah, Ruth and Kohelet, Pirkei Avot and more. With the Kimcha De'Avishona commentary by Rabbi Yochanan ben Rabbi Yosef Trivish. The Avot tractate with Maimonides' commentary and the Sfrono commentary. The text is vowelized and with cantillation notes.
Two sections, Bologna 1541.
First section: 200 leaves. Several leaves appear twice.
Second section: 189 leaves. Leaf 24 of this section is missing. Approximately 20 leaves appear twice.
Separate, yet similar, title page for each section.
The two sections contain dozens of handwritten glosses and comments in Italian script, most likely by two writers. In addition, the first section contains signatures and inscriptions in a foreign language. A handwritten version of the Kadish appears at the end of the volume. On the title page, a signature: "Baruch David Cohen S.T… Raphael Chaim Cohen S.T"
Condition: Fair. Detached leaves. Tears. Moth holes. Wear and stains. The margins of the title page are restored. Detached non-matching binding. Pencil numbering of the pages. The Machzor has been completed from two or three different copies. Erasures of the censor.
