Shitah Mekubetzet – Lemberg 1827 – the Copy of Beit Ha'Midrash Ha'Gadol of Mezhirich

On the title page of the book and among its leaves, several stamps of "Beit Ha'Midrash Ha'Gadol of Mezhirich. Two different types of stamps. The stamps are ancient and some have faded.
A printed leaf was glued onto the binding of the book with a notice: "no man is permitted to take Chumashim or any other book from the Beit Midrash here in Mezhirich … without the permission of the supervisors…"
The Beit Midrash of Mezhirich was founded by the Maggid of Mezhirich and continued to be active after his death.
Condition: Fair-Bad. Much wear and tear.
