Slichot – Vilnius and Grodno 1823 – Important Signatures

Seder Slichot, according to the custom of Lithuania, Reisin and Zamet. Vilnius and gRodno 1823. Printed by the partners Menachem Mann ben Baruch and Simhca Zimmen ben Menachem Nachum.
On the title page, a signature : "David Tevli Berlin" – Rabbi David Tevli Berlin.
Another inscription and signature: "… Yochanan Hirsch ben … Hirsch Shlank" – a disciple of the Chatam Sofer and son-in-law of Rabbi David Tevli Berlin. He immigrated to Jerusalem with his father-in-law in 1838. Was one of the founders of the "Etz Chaim" Yeshiva of Jerusalem and of additional institutions.
On the lower part of the title page, an inscription :"I have bought from Beit Ha'Midrash Menachem Zion of the estate of Rabbi David Tevil".
At the end of the book and additional ancient signature.
