An Exciting, Important and Rare Photograph - A Rabbi of the Lithuania Geniuses Swears in Jewish Soldiers of the Lithuanian Army

A rare photograph, one of a kind, which shows Rabbi Aharon Milevsky, the rabbi of Alytus, swearing in three young Jewish soldiers of the Lithuanian army! 1930.
The rabbi is holding a bible.
The soldiers who are wearing the uniform of the foreign army are standing to attention with their weapons of their backs.
On the reverse side of the photograph, Rabbi Milevsky wrote (in Hebrew): "the swearing in of the Jewish soldiers of the second … of the Lithuanian cavalry on the 29th of Nissan 5690 [1930], in Alytus-west".
A unique photograph that reflects the common reality of those days - Jews that were recruited to foreign armies, often against their will, as was the case of the Lithuanian army, and sometimes were even forced to fight against their Jewish brothers who belonged to the enemy's army.
