Sha'arei Teshuvah, by the Rebbe Rabbi Ya'akob Abuhatzeira - Jerusalem, 1956 - A Handwritten Dedication by the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira, the "Baba Sali", and an Erasure in his Handwriting
Sha'arei Teshuvah - "twenty eight faces to Teshuvah, Chochma and Mussar". By the Rebbe Rabbi Ya'akov Abuhatzeira, author of "Abir Ya'akov". Jerusalem, 1956.
The book was published by his grandsons, the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira and his bother Rabbi Yitzchak Abuhatzeira.
On the reverse side of the title page, a place to fill in a dedication, hand-filled by the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira, the "baba Sali".
On the margins of the dedication, the name of the "Baba Sali" was printed as one of the publishers, and before his name, words of praise were printed. When the "Baba Sali" received the book, he erased with pen the words of praise that were written of him!
A rare, special copy!
The printing of the book and the writing of the dedication were done when the "Baba Sali" was in Jerusalem, during his second immigration to Israel in 1951. During this time, he lived in Jerusalem and later returned to Morocco for spiritual reasons.
Condition: Good. The binding is stained and worn.
