Die Plagen: 3te ägyptische Humoreske, aufgeschrieben und abgemalt bei dem Auszuge der Juden aus Aegypten von C.M. Seyppel.
An anti-Semitic play about ten wise men and the exodus from Egypt by Seypple Carl Maria. The book is laden with illustrations and caricatures about the exodus from Egypt.
42 leaves, 26.5 cm. Printed on cardboard.
Bold illustration, using heavy ink. Some of the illustrations are in red. The image of the Jew is drawn with a long nose, as typical by anti-Semites.
Cardboard binding covered in fabric, in the front binding a small opening was made to expose the book title. Age stains. Slight damage as a result of handling cardboard page edges. Medium condition.
