Sefer Elim by Rabbi Yosef ben Shlomo Delmedigo, at the press of Menashe ben Yisrael, Amsterdam [1628-9]. First edition.
The book is divided into five sections: Ilem, Mayan Ganim, Chukat Shamayim, Gevurot Hashem, and Mayan Chatum. Menashe ben Yisrael press. Illustrations and sketches.
This book originally featured a frontispiece portrait of the author. This edition is missing that portrait and 42 pages of Sefer Ilem, and 28 pages of the Mayan Chatum.
Not bound, many worming holes on most leaves.
Poor condition.
