"Masa B'Arav Hu Sefer Korot". Warsaw, 1926. Unknown edition
[6], 105, [2] pages.
Work authored by Shmuel Romanelli of Mantua, Traklin publishing, Warsaw, 1926. The author was born in Mantua in 1756 and travelled to many countries. This book describes his four-years of travels in the Barbary states, and is accompanied by descriptions of the mood in the Jewish community - synagogues and batei medrash. This book is one of the vibrant sources for the study of the history in the Ashkenaz communities of the 18th century, primarily because of Romanelli's simple descriptions of the everyday life of the Jews of these countries.
The National Library has a different editions of this copy, however this edition, printed in Warsaw, is not in its collection.
Old cardboard binding, tape reinforcement on the title page, fine condition.
